Career Advice, Please Help?

We Answered:

Hello,

If you like engineering, then you should opt for engineering for sure. There are several things you can do after your engineering course. You can be an entrepreneur in engineering if you want.

A career which looks best today might not be the best choice in next few years. There are various factors that affect your employ-ability; many from them are linked with job market. You can manage your career for long term success by keeping an eye on the trends in the marketplace and responding to changing factors.

Now-a-days, it is best to do what you like more because that is where you can excel. Taking multiple career paths is really not a good idea considering the fact that there is really a lot you can do in your own field. Engineering is very vast and so in Electrical and Computer Engineering.

In Electrical Engineering, you can choose to take software or hardware. You can take up more advanced subjects like mobile, wireless, VLSI, nanotechnology, etc.

In Computer Engineering, you can choose to take software development in several areas including cryptography, etc.

So, there are really lots you can do in engineering. If you like engineering, try and stick to it. It is a good choice.

All the best.

job ideas (compassion + creativity)?

We Answered:

Teachers, especially early childhood educators, need both compassion and creativity. So do occupational therapists, social workers, nurses, teachers' assistants who work with students who have developmental disabilities.

But if you don't want to go to university, think about to what degree you enjoy helping people. You can have a creative job and help people by volunteering your time doing something else.

What can I expect to learn in AP Environmental Science?

We Answered:

im in it now.

its basically bio, earth science, and some chem.

you learn about animals insects extinction and animal habitat. we havent started, but yes we learn about global warming, pollution and recycling. we also learn on human effects on the planet. we planted plants and did a lot of projects. my class was rather easy, and only about one test a month. we dont even use our text books.

but theres not alot of bok work involved, because its not a "major" science subject like chem or bio. so we have alot of worksheets projects and thigs like that.

its great for a career in science if ur undecided on what specific science you want to major in. i was also thinking about being an enviormental engineer.

lol sorry its kinda unorganized XP
