Career Personality Type

Ruth Said:

What are good career choices for the ENFP personality type?

We Answered:

Well, actually, I'm an ENFP too, and have done quite a bit of reading on this. It looks like we can do almost anything that interests us, but it really has to interest us. Some of the more common careers we go into (if you don't know what you're interested in), are acting, journalism, and psychology. We also tend to be artists, and some of us are scientists, mostly in biology, but as I said, whatever interests you, because interest is important. Most of us find things that don't interest us almost impossible to work on.

As on how you could use this to your advantage... well, look up how to order your functions, or just look at a list of Myers-Briggs functions for an ENFP. Then you can understand what they actually are (e.g. Extraverted Intuition is the function that searches for new possiblies and potential in objects. It's our first function.) and then you can look for careers that use your higher functions more frequently. I'm sorry if this part went over your head; a little research will clarify it.

Ricky Said:

Is your current career or future career goals in line with a matching career for your personality type?

We Answered:

Yea I hope to be a marine biologist because I love the sea and animals in it. I'm sick of people going into jobs like accountancy and engineering just because there are jobs in them areas.
