If you go to seek.com.au (http://seek.com.au/career-resources/?cid… - go to "Decide Which Job") or mycareer.com.au (http://content.mycareer.com.au/advice-re… they both have an area which tackles career counselling and provides good general advice.

Careerone.com.au also have a test (http://www.careerone.com.au/news-advice/… I can't verify the accuracy of any of these online tests, but if you do a few and get similar results it may prove useful. More importantly, it will get you thinking about industries and you can then research these further to see if they appeal to you.

Tests like Myers-Brigg are used by many large companies and from personal experience I would say they are pretty accurate. Google Myers Brigg to see if there is a practitioner in your local area who can administer the test (be wary of fakes though! Make sure you check their qualifications and I wouldn't recommend doing this one online because I think they are expensive - so better to check you are getting the real thing!).

Don't put too much pressure on yourself to find the 'right' career straight out of high school though! It's admirable, but anyone who's been in the workforce for a while will tell you, you can't always pick it straight up! Trial and error is often the best way to find out what you really love!
