Gilbert Said:
Hi i'm 16, and I don't really know what I want to do when i'm older?We Answered:
If you know that you want to do something in science, you've already got a head start on most people your age. I understand that today's world puts much more emphasis on education, so you feel pressured to choose as you go into college. Mom and dad dishing out the paper for your tuition doesn't help the nerves either. I'm going into my third year of college, and quite honestly, I still don't know what I want to do. Just the other day I was talking to a friend of mine. He's in his 30's and he half-jokingly ponders his own "future." In all likelihood, you're not going to know what you want to do with your life for quite some time. The one thing I can tell you is that High School is not nearly as important as you think it is now. It's all about the graduate schools my friend. Basically, do what you want to do, not where the money is.
