Job Personality Tests
Harold Said:
how do i pass the best buy and sears job personality test?We Answered:
There is usually no right or wrong for these tests (with a few obvious ones.) Just answer honestly, and you will be fine. What they are looking for is inconsistent answers, or obviously perfect answers. Everybody has faults and places to improve, so don't go telling them that you never make a mistake, never get angry and always start work early without being told. They will know you are just saying what you THINK they want to hear, and not being honest.Melvin Said:
Job personality tests.... what are they looking for?We Answered:
IT can go either way....i mean you can lie and try to be the best "personality" and that can work in your favor and then you could absolutely hate living up to what your not or it could backfire they see through your attempt to be what they are looking for and not hire you...If i were you i would be yourself its not fun going through anything not being true to who you areFloyd Said:
What is the point of taking personality tests for a job interview? We Answered:
Some businesses have policies that are used nationwide or statewide to determine the ability of an employee. If they can't pass this test, they don't hire them per policies. The lazy workers probably were able to pass the test and reverted to their original positions of laziness. If you are looking for something to supplement your income a data collecting business will work for you. Data entry is a huge business. You can help the government where all your asked to do is input 10 plates per month, should take about 10-15 minutes. With that you tell others about the opportunity and get a residual income from it.You would be placed in a position that will make you successful. If you want more info msg. me.Francis Said:
How do you pass those personality tests that some job applications make you take?We Answered:
I'm not sure which particular test you are referring to but many personality tests offered for positions are not really a pass or fail. They are designed to see if you are a good fit for the particular position you are applying for. For example, a sales position would look for competitive traits, desire to meet goals, working with the public skills, etc. A mgmt job would look for leadership traits, dealing with conflict, etc. You just need to be yourself on these tests and not analyze to hard for what the tester wants.Maria Said:
anyone mastered the answers on those screwed up personality tests on job applications? We Answered:
I don't know about all places of employment. But I work at Wal-Mart, and one of the managers told me some advice for 2 of my relatives who were going to put in applications. On the questions that ask how strongly you agree or disagree,
(strongly agree, somewhat agree, neither agree or disagree, somewhat disagree, or strongly disagree)
What they want is a firm Yes or No answer. Not one of the in-between ones. They don't want you to be wishy washy or indecisive. They want someone who can be clear and concise in making a decision. And then be firm and sure of that decision.
I'm sure that if other employers have similar questions on their applications, they would be looking for the same thing.
Sorry that's all the advice I have
