Myers Briggs Career Test

Esther Said:

have you taken myers/briggs type indicator test? what type are you?

We Answered:

I took the test 12 years ago, and I was an INFP then. I figured I'd change ALOT in the last 12 years, so I decided to retake the test - still came out the same. I was genuinely surprised. I guess no matter how much we change, we still stay the same.

Peace to you.

Are career test worth the money?

We Answered:

None of them are worth the money. Only you can decide what career is best for you.

Myers Briggs Personality Test?

We Answered:

The Myers-Briggs isn't really that great of a personality test and doesn't do a super-good job of predicting careers. Try the RIASEC vocational interest inventory or the 16PF personality inventory (or a free knockoff version of it).

Can anybody suggest a good career?

We Answered:

Given the fact you seem kind of anti corporations I suggest you seek employment for yourself. From all those that I have known that have successfully done it having an MBA helped. Not all those that I know with MBA's have successful businesses, but all personal people I know with successful businesses have their MBA. Just my experience, I am sure that there are successful entrepreneurs without MBA's.
As to the hair issue, from my personal experience, I would say it depends more on your look than the length of your hair. I know people with hair similar to yours that make it somehow look very professional and it is not at all a detractor on them. I know others that look just like they are sloppy hippies, so back to the it's not the hair you have but what you do with it that I think will be the deciding factor.

Kristin Said:

What's a good, legitimate website to take the Myers-Briggs or similar personality test?? For less than $40.?

We Answered:

This one is free:
Go here, take the accurate test. Try to answer the questions objectively, stick to the fact, without trying to answer in ways you think will make you look good (a temptation for all of us). this is just for you, to get to know you better:

Once you have your 4-letter temperament type (like, for example, "ENTP"), go here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Myers-brigg…
AND scroll WAY down to: "Type dynamics and development," look to the right and find your 4-letter designator. Click on it and readup.

Any INTJ Personalities: What Career Have You Chosen?

We Answered:

As an INTJ (and occasionally an ENTJ - I'm usually close to 50/50 on the introvert/extrovert piece) I've found creative areas and teaching (depending on how strong the "I" is) to be most rewarding. Specifically in writing.

As an "N" - intuitive person, I've found that I have a knack for connecting with people through writing and have actually used those skills in radio commercial writing and in my websites.

The "T" - Thinking - part makes writing easier because I'm able to write and teach in a logical format that draws people along to the point. I find people that are more feeling than thinking sometimes don't have the ability to put things in a logical, easy to read or understand format. That's never been a problem for me.

The "J" - Judging - part comes in because you have an instant ability to "size up" someone or something and with your strong "N" skills you know if something's bogus or not.

So, for me, I've reveled in the writing, teaching, and marketing fields. I can put my active mind to work, but still be able to not have to rush into things without putting it together in a logical format for my poor little brain. haha

Hope that helps!

I have a Myers-Briggs enfp personallity.. career help!?

We Answered:

Everything seems to require college these days. Check into financial aid and a small community college. A few classes and your experience should help you set on your way.
