Personality Job Tests

Scott Said:

how to answer a job personality test question?

We Answered:

i wouldn't answer it - i would write in "i never stole anything from a job" or tell the person grading the test.

Kristin Said:

How do you pass the job personality test?

We Answered:

Every company is looking for a particular type of person and hence they want to make sure the person's personality fits with the company's culture.

Don't fret if you do not pass the personality test for certain companies, this does not mean you are a bad person. In fact the way you should look at it is that company is not a good fit for you.

Be yourself and when you do pass the job personality test for that company then you know you will fit in with their culture and enjoy working with your colleagues.

There's nothing worse than working in a play where the personality of staff is completely different from yours, so my advice is don't try to pass the job personality test, just be yourself!

Gail Said:

Does anyone know a good site to practice for a personality test for job advancement?

We Answered:

no point in practicing for this kind of test - the whole point it to get a snapshot of the person and rehearsal is not part of that

Patrick Said:

how to answer Job application personality test?

We Answered:

No because sometimes the question is "would you steal from the company" and sometimes the question is "would you show up on time", and about a third of the questions are iffy. Also each employer is looking for different traits so you can't know what they are looking for. I persoanlly hate these things. Best thing to do is ask a friend who already works there what they answered.

Glenn Said:

Don't you hate filling out personality tests on job applications?

We Answered:

half the questions are common-sense anyway and time wasters. :/

"how do you do your work at a job?"
a. i do the best i can
b. i'm lazy and don't do crap.

ummm...? which one do you -think- i'll pick, man? who would pick b when trying to get a job? serious.

Marc Said:

What is the purpose of these personality/psychological tests that are given for job applications?

We Answered:

this kind of test will give an insight to a person's state of mind when a kind of situation will arise. how a person will cope when things didn't go as planned. it will also determine your state of mind and if you have a positive or a negative attitude. these tests are excellent way of letting them know who you are as a person and if you can adapt well with other people-your co-workers.
