Chris Said:
What career would be good for me?We Answered:
Forget tech school! Try music school! If you're that good at it! Or, the conservatory! Or, start your own recording studio. You might also want to work as a musical secretary for a publishing house. Or, work at the local music shop...If you like history that much, maybe you should try studying history and become a historian, history teacher or archaeologist

career help========-----------0000----?We Answered:
Go into retail sales in a store with a cash register and an employee discount. Because the problem with what you (and all the lazy soon to be graduates) have asked here is: everything in the world needs to be free, quick and easy.YOU'RE WELCOME
Nothing worth anything is quick, free or easy. you get out of life what you put into it and without dedication to the work, determination to be the best, (by practice) there is certainty that you will never find enough desire to amount to even a crowd control person at the studios let alone an actress. But good luck

I want to change my career goal and major. HELP?!?We Answered:
Kudo's for thinking about your mom and your family!If you are doing a Biology major, you do not necessarily need to go to med school, to have a career. Once you have a BS, you could become a research assistant / technician in a routine or research laboratory. In our lab (research lab) we often have BS or MS folks who are not sure if they want to go to med school, but who would like to first get some lab bench experience, while making some money at the same time. Working like that for a year will give you the chance to think about the rest of your career, and it is usually helpful for your CV, even if you go to med school after that.
A good way to see if you like working in a lab might be to see if you can arrange some internship. Even if you only have one free afternoon per week, some labs would love to have an extra set of hands to help out. You probably wont get paid, but if you work hard you will have a much bigger chance of being hired at that company/lab or at a different one. It will give you the opportunity to see whether you like routine vs the more unexpected lab work.
If you mom is a nurse, and if she works in a hospital, are there ways of maybe asking around? The microbiology/pathology/ lab might be willing to offer you an internship. Otherwise, there might be biotech companies in your area that could offer interesting part time jobs or internships.
Main thing is that almost all jobs that make good money will require a degree. But even millionaires started out as an intern or parttimer, so that would be the most secure way if you have some spare time. My main advice is to stay in school, and finish your degree!
Good luck in life!

Please help!! Career advice!! No one will help me!?We Answered:
Important first step - - - CHILL OUT and do not panic - - - you are ready to embark upon College. College is not truly about education it is about networking, developing the friendships & relationships that carry you through life. Concentrate on your people skils, join clubs & societies that enhance your interests. Take as many arts & humanity classes as possible. As another answerer noted, Radio. Most schools have a Campus Radio outlet and you can also get unpaid intern gigs at various radio stations.Also get into event entertainment - - - make it known to party planners, wedding planners, etc that you have certain talents and are ready to share them with the world. Above all work on making friends and in the end that is whatwill lead you to a career. Check out buios of many famous people especially actors & their crowd and you will find it all fell together in High School & College.
Peace & Good Luck........pfffffffffftttttt (ah)

Help me decide my career?We Answered:
It is NEVER too late. Don't you ever let anyone make you feel down, you can always pursue a career and be successful even if your classmates are a bit ahead of you, so just take your decision that you want to reach your goals and I am sure you will do good.As for your career, I'd say if you think you cannot afford the art thing or you're worried about it not being enough to make a living out of, just go for something else and do the art thing on the side, and if you were talented enough, you will excel in arts and you might change your career later to something you like. You said you have a nice voice and you play piano, that's good. Try knocking on some doors, someone might answer and adopt your talent.
For a start, you can go for literature or fashion, especially that there's a high demand on fashion and it should make you financially stable.
Best of Luck
