Has anyone had to take a HR personality-type test over the phone? We Answered:
I had to take them before but mine were true/false automated questions. It was super easy as long as you dont get the true/ false buttons wrong.Troy Said:
Is there a website that offers a free Myers Briggs Type Indicator personality type test?We Answered:
To the best of my knowledge, no website offers the entire test, though many offer tests that provide some level of indication as what your Myers Briggs personality type would be. Using google, I found the following representative test:http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/JTyp…

What are the strength and weaknesses of a Myers-Briggs Type Personality Test?We Answered:
It gives you a idea of your preferences with respect to how you interact with other people and take in information. Knowing this, you can adjust your interaction. Just as important is knowing the classification of others you interact with as you can change your style to improve that interaction. The downside of this, is the stereotype. While you can classified as a particular type, it doesn't mean that you can't be flexible move into different quandrants when necessary. So the downside is taking the results too seriously, as opposed to just a data point.

What is really the point of knowing what Brain Type by using the Myers-Briggs personality type test?We Answered:
I´m also an ENFP...and taking the Myers-Briggs test actually really helped me identify some problem parts of my personality. When I learned that a personality trait of ENFP´s is difficulty sticking with a project and always seeing the potential of things yet-to-come, I realized that I should stop switching my major at college and stick with my original career choice (teaching), instead of changing it/considering changes every time I gained a new passion or interest. Knowing and understanding my personality has helped me to use my strengths and recognize my weaknesses, but it certainly is not something that I use to shape my life. (I.e. I didn´t choose to become a teacher just because my personality profile said I would be good at it; I don´t plan on choosing my husband based on the Myers-Briggs test). I use the knowledge that I´ve gained from my results to identify when I might be leading myself down a dead-end trail of possibilities...and to help me stay on track. haha.Margaret Said:
I'm a female INTJ on the Myers-Briggs personality test. Can you describe the personality type of INTJ?We Answered:
Congrats on finding out your personality type. It should reveal a lot about who you are, help you understand yourself better, and maybe help you work on some of your weaker areas. I can't give you a short, sweet answer to your question. The best thing is to read the links I provide and acknowledge the traits you have. Not every trait will fit you. Within every personality type are differences or else there wouldn't be much diversity in the world.INTJs might be considered the scientist type or free thinker (see links below). A preview of what you'll learn about yourself:
"INTJs are strong individualists who seek new angles or novel ways of looking at things. They enjoy coming to new understandings. They are insightful and mentally quick; however, this mental quickness may not always be outwardly apparent to others since they keep a great deal to themselves. They are very determined people who trust their vision of the possibilities, regardless of what others think. They may even be considered the most independent of all of the sixteen personality types. INTJs are at their best in quietly and firmly developing their ideas, theories, and principles.
INTJs learn best when they can design their own approach and when they are able to absorb themselves in an area that interests them. They tend to focus on systems, theories, and constructs relating to universal truths and principles. They prefer challenging teachers, ones who meet their standards. High grade-point averages and test scores tend to characterize INTJs, who like rigorous academic work. Learning needs to be a creative process. Rote memory can be dull and boring for the INTJ.
INTJs are the most self-confident of all types, having "self-power" awareness. Found in about 1 percent of the general population, the INTJs live in an introspective reality, focusing on possibilities, using thinking in the form of empirical logic, and preferring that events and people serve some positive use. Decisions come naturally to INTJs' once a decision is made, INTJs are at rest. INTJs look to the future rather than the past, and a word which captures the essence of INTJs is builder-a builder of systems and the applier of theoretical models."
