Are there any legit quizzes or tests online to find out what job/career is right for you?We Answered:
I don't know about a site online. My resource is a book called "Please Understand Me II Temperament, Character, Intelligence" by David Keirsey. This book should be available in your local library. Inside on pages 4-9 is a 70 question quiz that will help you determine your personality type. This will in turn narrow down your career choices that would be most suitable for your personality type. This way you can focus on careers that will best fit you. I wish I knew about this book 40 years ago when I was in high school trying to figure out what college to go to and what to study.Good Luck

What's the best way to assess what career is best for me?We Answered:
Start off with with is fun for you. From there, find out what fields of study your strengths lie in. What subjects in school are you best at? Once you get these factors figured out, then get to a computer, and find out what the future outlook is for jobs in the fields you'd like to pursue. Back when i was in high school, in the 70's, a computer was a teletype machine wtih a phone receiver hooked up to it- a big, hot, loud typewriter with a large roll of paper in it. But it was in my counselor's office, and hooked up to a database of info on what jobs would be lucrative in the next ten to twenty years..Now, i'm not the best source of info for this: i was undecided in high school, and in college, and in life..I've done all kinds of work, but my main problem is not finding something I want to do everyday, for the rest of my life. If you find that , then you're fortunate.
But for most people, it's either what they want to do for personal satisfaction and enjoyment, or what they end up doing for the money, or somewhere along the line, hooking up with something thru networking and having a career take off from there.
Hey, but youth and the future is all about possibilities, and you should pursue all that you are able to...best of luck.!!

but you can also take a personality quiz on Collegeboard.com (its pretty lengthy but it works... I guess)
