Test To Find The Right Career

Any Computer Career Test?We Answered:
In my humble opinion, there are not any "Computer" or IT specific career tests out there online. And trust me, I've looked. That said, though, there are some good career tests out there that are good at identifying what careers are a good match for your personality. And if IT fits your personality, it should give you some good insight on which way to go. :)One is MAPP (Motivational Appraisal of Personal Potential) at www.Assessment.com. It's not free, but the fee is very nominal - and worth it. It was very insightful for me, and has greatly helped me re-focus my 3-5 year career goals.
The second is LiveCareer.com. This one is free. It's very good, and offers some great insight. But, it just gives you an overview of some career fields to consider.
Either test will give you a better understanding of what career fits your personality. The best one may not be IT. In my case, it wasn't, but I knew that going in.
However, it will give you an idea of what the best IT career is that fits your personality. And that may be all the guidance or direction you need.
Hope this helps, and best of luck in your quest for answers!

Choosing the right career?We Answered:
If you like the field you are studying, keep at it - you can go into research, you can teach and of the subjects, accounting, even business (I personally know of several PHD educated folks who specialized in science, did lab work for several years ---creating products - and are now in management...)Tonya Said:
How do I begin to choose a career when I don't know where to begin? ?We Answered:
i'm in your same situation only i'm a junior in high school. it's flying by and i wanna have time to think about stuff like that. but i've looked at the things i like doing and don't like doing that requires a minimal amount of work and pays well. too bad we didn't get paid for being observed while out and about. you know, a persong trying to 'study the average person's day off'? but i've narrowed it down to being either a culinary artist (which if i win this upcoming competition, i win a trip to new york and a spot on the food network!) or a graphic artist. but i can't draw and love to cook so that decision speaks 4 itself i guess. lolPedro Said:

If you are interested in becoming a hair stylist, then go for it!!!! It makes decent money and you will be doing something that you like. That is what is most important. And you won't be poor if you are good at what you do.
