It would be a good idea to start with a full time program for two years and do summers or nights until you can get at least a BA or preferably a BFA. It would give you a better chance a a real future. If you stop short you will regret it forever. If you manage to excel scholarships are available. There are also tuition waivers and various awards that would help if finance is a problem. But also the contacts that you make a a committed student will serve you for more years than you can imagine.
