Well, this is a very tough decision, I`ve been there... It would be better to choose what you love because ending up as a frustrated professional won`t make you a satisfied person in the future. Of course, supporting a family is important but first you have to be happy to make your family happy.
Since you like music what about careers that are related to music but not necessarily a musician? example: music therapy. Since I am not very familiar with the career choices your country offers I cannot say much but I can tell you this: I have seen people around me who chose a major according to the profit they might make in the future. I have a friend who is studying engineering but his passion is English. He says that sometimes it is hard to go on, I mean studying something you don`t enjoy so imagine my friend working in the future as a frustrated engineer.
This is a personal decision, of course, you are the one who has to make this important choice.
And is there anything else you like besides music?
