If you are taking medical marijuana, Employers do not have to hire you (since it is still illegal Federally, the labor laws do not apply to this). If the Employer tests and you are using, you will not get that job unless you use a product to clean your urine.

I have been given a drug test - the same day as the interview for a job in accounts receivable. My husband works in customer support and inside sales and is subject to random drug tests (and yes, they do test every once in a while).

I personally find all of this ridiculous for most jobs and a total waste of money, since most people that smoke use a product to pass and don't go to work high (just my opinion), but it seems to keep their Employer happy if they play this game.
