How can I get assistance finding work in Europe, via agencies or otherwise? We Answered:

Attention Australian Teachers and graduates, can you help me please? We Answered:
You best bet is to get a job right away. it is my experience that if you wait you'll have more competition to tend with when you eventually want to work. Now if you want to stay in UK then go do that and you might have a good chance of finding a permenant job there. 125 pounds is not bad. It will be enough to survive with.

australian looking for a job in central europe? We Answered:
It might be better to look before you leave home.Jobs are hard to come by in some of the countries you have mentioned.
there may be a Manpower agency in some cities that may hook you up but not sure how fast they are.
You can also check out graigslist for each country to see how the job market is.
Most short-term jobs aren't going to pay very well.

what suggestions can you give to a job seeker like me?We Answered:
Hi! I was an overseas visitor in Melbourne a few years back and during my stay there, I was able to have frank discussions with migrants like you who are still adapting to the way of life of the Australians. I talked to a few Greeks, some British, Irish, many Filipinos, Vietnamese and Chinese. Persistence and hard work earned them the successes they enjoy at the time we talked. Some relied on their countrymen to help them out in finding a job.It will take several years before you can drop your accent and speak like an Australian. Accept the fact that you will always be a "foreigner" in Australia, just like many over there who have made Australia their new home. You need not take an English course. From the way you wrote out the above it is apparent that you have a fair command of the English language. You might not be able to speak it well, but you'll do fine. Your day to day interaction with the Australians will be like a big classroom for you.
Jobs are hard to come by anywhere in the world. With your kind of CV, I am sure that you'll eventually land a good job. Just keep on trying!!! Someone (an immigrant) once told me that after he made out his 200th CV and job application, he eventually got word of employment. Just keep focusing on getting a job, your effort will bear fruit in the end.
Melbourne and its environs is a place of great interest. I particularly loved the Yarra Valley and its vineyards, the quaint towns and their pubs, the forests, the flora and fauna. And the people I met were most interesting! I am just sooo sorry about Marysville, it was such a nice place.
I hope you will eventually find a niche over there with the people you love. Enjoy, savor and be thrilled with your new life! And the possibilities offered ahead of you!
