Ben Said:
Question regarding my" reference" , What should I do ??We Answered:
At least that will show that you didn't lie about your work at the call center, but that's about it.You might be better served finding better references - ones that can vouch for your skill, intelligence and work ethic. That is what hiring manager and HR people want to hear when they contact references.

Question regarding my" reference" , What should I do ??We Answered:
Many companies, especially big ones, are reluctant to provide detailed references. All they are obligated to do is verify employment, dates, and salary. They avoid details for these reasons: if they give a bad reference (i.e. say you were always late, were rude, didn't work well with others) then they fear you may sue them for slander if you find out they spoke badly about you. They don't want the liability or the headache, even if the information is true. If they give you a glowing reference, and it turns out you don't live up to that, then the new employer can go back to them for giving false information. Both situations are tricky to pursue legally, but why risk the hassle? I typically only elaborate on references if the person was outstanding and I have an ongoing relationship with them and trust them. So-so employees, or those who left on shaky terms, I just give the facts. Any large hiring company will expect this too.So my suggestion is ask one prior supervisor that you had a good relationship with to write a short letter of recommendation--if they are willing. And you can share this with an interviewer. A personal reference is good too but avoid friends and family, try someone you worked with on a volunteer project, or a friend of the family you've done something for or who knows you well. Then other employers can simply provide verification.
