Employment Agencies Florida

Raul Said:

is this a example of of the jobs obamas created ?and a example of how employment wont go over 8%?

We Answered:

Yes, the same type of economics are being worked in Michigan, except we have far surpassed that point, they have created new jobs for social workers in the welfare office because the majority of people have run out of unemployment benefits, but they did cut some government workers. 50 people have been laid off from the post office. I guess you will see them in line with all the welfare recipients in the near future. Jennifer Granholm replaced the automotive industry with walmart in this state. Yup, this is really working out for the American people. Welcome to an 18% unemployment rate coming to your town soon. ;-)

Erika Said:

employment law florida- non compete?

We Answered:

First and foremost, you need to check the documents given to you by Agency A. They usually state that you are an employee of Agency A and are bound by their rules.

Non-competes are signed by employees to prevent them, primarily, from bringing their expertise to the competition. Since you were not an employee of Company B when you signed it (but rather an employee of Agency A), I'd say it's null. However, I'd bring this to the attention of the agency. If their clients are asking the Agency's employees to sign non-competes, I think it may create a conflict of interest somewhere.

You can always double check with an attorney. Most states have a bar association (check the yellow pages) that will answer questions for little or no money.

Elsie Said:

Is Florida the most unconstitutional state in the union?

We Answered:

"Do you think Florida is right?"

No. I think that's a bad policy. Unfortunately, they can get away with it. Innocent until proven guilty only applies in a court of law. You might want to talk to a Florida attorney about the possibility of getting the arrest record expunged.

Neil Said:

Unemployed and have to register w/an agency, but now in college?

We Answered:

I don't know the rules for Florida, but for California, if you are in school, or taking any kind of training, you LOOSE your benefits.
I guess they are saying, if you can afford to go to school, then you don't need the benefits!
