The system has improved oer the years. It depends upon whether or not there is a democrat or a republican legislature. The democrats want to create "programs" and the republicans want to stimulate the economy so people can work.

It is my understanding now that people have to look for work when their children reach the age of 5. They have to take classes, etc., to enter the workforce.

The re-training that they might want you to take is so you can get a job in another field since you haven't been able to find a job in your current chosen field.

They want to test you for your possible aptitudes to see what you might do as another profession.

Who knows, you might learn to do something where you can make a better living. Give it a go and see what happens.

Well, that's one way for the agency to NOT pay payroll taxes and insurance costs. Clearly, the agency is NOT considering the aid an employee, and that's how they'r proving it.

Is it fraud? It's probably TAX fraud. The agency is telling YOU they're an employee, and the IRS that they are NOT. Look, they're not holding back payroll taxes! They can't be, since PAYROLL is done by the client! And I SERIOUSLY doubt they're providing liability and workers comp for the "employee", seeing as how the "employee" payroll isn't on the BOOKS of the agency.

Actually, you can use the employment agency that got me a job. The name of the company is Online Opportunities. They offer real W-4 and W-9 work from home jobs. Most of the jobs that they offer come with 401K and benefits. The best part is that you don't have to waste your gas money searching for a job. You can work in your PJs. They're customer service helped me find a job that fit my talents with the pay and schedule that I needed!! I am so bless. Now, I can be a stay at home mom AND help my family financially.

Check out www.guru.com for great freelance jobs. I own my own marketing agency out here in the west coast but I'm partnered with a public relations firm in NYC .

Maybe try applying to PR agencies to be a writer for press releases to gain some business experience.
