Employment Agency London

Irene Said:

who was been scammed by a London employment agency making a job in Singapore ?

We Answered:

It's not usually a London employment agency that is scamming people. Most of these fake job offers in London are carried out by scammers in Nigeria, sometimes using the names and addresses of legitimate UK businesses, but using +4470 call forwarding numbers and free email addresses ending in @gmail.com, @live.com, @yahoo.com, etc. And they don't just target people Singapore - on these boards it seems like most people who have been scammed have been in the Philippines or India

If you didn't interview in person with a company, the job offer is not real. Employment agencies can't offer you a job - all they can do is introduce you to their clients you are looking for employees, then it's up to you to interview in person with the employer and the employer gives you the job offer. I don't know any company that would hire someone from overseas on the basis of email correspondence. You always at least have a video conference interview if you are unable to meet in person.

Dave Said:

What is the contact number of BONIMAS RECRUITMENT AGENCY in London, UK?

We Answered:

This is a SCAM company. I hope you have not sent them any money. Companies don't offer jobs by e-mail and with out interviews. You should not have to pay for a visa if you have been offered a genuine job, your new employer should sort all that out.

Shannon Said:

i know that royal mail in london use an employment agency, but what is the name of that agency?

We Answered:

Royal Mail jobs are advertised on www.totaljobs.com. Applications go directly to the company.

Cory Said:

Can you kindly recommend an Recruitment/Employment Agency in London?

We Answered:

First of all, it's a bit hard to recommend anyone without you saying what type of work you're looking for. My recommendations are:
- Tate for admin/secretarial
- Kelly Services or Adecco for unskilled positions
- Manpower for construction
- Hays for finance
There are many specialist agencies for teaching, nursing etc but I can't recommend any.

But, from reading your previous questions, you sound like you are not yet in the UK. You will not be able to register until you have arrived in the UK. You can send your CV now and all they will say is "cool, give us a call when you get here." They won't register you without meeting you in person, seeing a copy of your passport to ensure that you can work in the UK, and if applicable having you take any tests like typing or software packages.
