right basically, the way it works,

1. you register with agencies (ideally 2-3)

2. you tell them when your avaliable, ie full time, temping, permanent, etc

3. they have vacancies they put you forward for, they get you an interview, or place you in a temporary job.

3. it could be for 1 day , few hours, a week, its temping....

4.take your uip to date cv, be confident, and sell your self....you will be fine....

We knock on doors and make site visits to any business that we have staff qualified to work in. Another way to find business is to ask you field staff where they have worked for other staffing companies. I also found that if you develop a good relationship with your competitors that they will actually refer business to you. Hope this helps
