They don't really care. You are a dime a dozen.
They are just looking to fill a position based on a few keywords and a glorified resume'.
They can disbar you based on any number of criteria.
Even the way you answer the phone or the tone of your voice. That is basically the reason minorities have such resentment.
It is probably pointless to even try.
I have been through the loops so many times and it has gotten me nowhere.
All I do is get upset about somebody I hardly even know telling me who I am.

I have no idea what your experience was, so I really can't comment. If there is no transcript of the ordeal or no paperwork backing up your claim, then all you can do is file a complaint and perhaps the person who you spoke with will get reprimanded. But that is about it.

I totally understand how you feel. I don't think you have any case at all. All you can do is file a complaint about the way you were treated on the phone.

I am so fed up with staffing agencies who treat people like cattle that I am looking elsewhere. For too long I expected some sort of miracle to happen, but the same thing happens over and over. This is just your first time with that experience. I have been through it numerous times.
I got so depressed on my experiences with recruiters that I simply stopped trying. I should have changed my methods long ago. I am desperately trying to doing that now.

I would suggest going straight to companies. Skip the middleman. I should have been doing that from the start. I guess I'm not that bright. Though some small companies can't afford an HR department.

I also know now that most jobs are filled because of acquantinces, so try to network with people already in that profession.

A traditional employment agency works to match job seekers with employers looking for permanent full or part time jobs. A traditional staffing agency has employees that they provide on a short-term, temporary basis to clients looking to fill temporary or seasonal positions with their company.

In most cases the staffing agency is the employer who pays the workers, with-holds taxes, provides any benefits, etc. An employment agency is not an employer. They are just a "go between" for the worker and the employer.
