Employment Temporary Agencies

Matthew Said:

Is it manditory for all employers including temporary agencies to provide employees with Record of employment?

We Answered:

Not in the US

Roland Said:

Are Temporary Employment Agencies bad?

We Answered:

No a lot of people get permanent jobs through them. From an employers point of view they get to try out a person before going through the whole process and expense that is involved in hiring directly. It also allow businesses that need extra workers seasonally to have the help they need at a lower cost than putting people on payroll and then laying them off. Temp agencies are pretty much a win-win for everybody..

Christopher Said:

Jo Said:

Serious Problems with Temporary Employment agencies?

We Answered:

Sweet Brunette...believe me, the temp agencies "do not" have your best interest in mind. They are commission based organizations. You come across as smart and willing to work. I run a Mercedes, Porsche, BMW, and Lexus Dealership. And I have only used a temp place once. I run an add in the paper for any positions I need. Go to the paper or local businesses and walk in like you own the place. Dress to the nines and talk to whoever is in charge. There is always an opening that needs to be filled. If you need other ideas , hit me up here...GOOD LUCK..and do not put your future in the hands of a temp service.

Claire Said:

Has the whole world gone crazy? Why do temporary employment agencies not seem willing to help job seekers?

We Answered:

Hi Chuck, I dont know what happened or what the context of your question is, but remember -- temporary employment agencies are businesses, not not-for-profit government services. They exist to make a profit, not to serve job seekers. Good luck!
