i to live in an industrial town, and to stay off benefits i have had to use employment agencies a lot, i did not like having to use agencies but it was and is the only option.

i am in my current job due to an agency, (i am now permanently employed).

just sign on with an agency - most employers now are, i am sorry to say to lazy to bother with recruitment and the agencies do everything now instead.

so do sign up and a good tip is sign with as many as possible.

There is a shortage of skilled bookkeepers. Try a local firm of accountants (not the big City firms with a HR department!). Send a CV to all the local firms telling them what you want to do. They won't pay very much until you're any good, but they'll get you there.
