Is it a bad time for a person that has a job to turn in resumes to get a better job?

We Answered:

I was working at a plant as a temp for 2 years and I left there this October to go to another plant because they were paying more money and I could get more skills under my belt. Well this November I was laid off from that job. So I say stay where you're at until the economy gets better. Now if the jobs you are looking at never really have any cut back go for it. Look into it and see how the job market is going.
