The employers are paying those agencies. Are you prepared to pay a high commission to a head hunter? Like 10-20% of your first year salary? That's what they get to find you a job. It's okay if they work for the employer, they still want to see you get the job, so work with them and that way you aren't paying that commission and you are still hearing about jobs.
