Media Employment Agency
Nancy Said:
Any advice on dealing with employment recruiters? We Answered:
Employment agencies are the bane of many peoples lives.Often they will advertise a job which is already taken just to get more "customers" (i.e. c.v's and possible contacts).
If you apply through an agency then ensure you follow up an e-mail application with a call an hour or so after (to discuss your cv etc). If they say they are submitting the cv then follow up with them on a regular basis.
If this agency is messing your around or you think they have not submitted it then call the company directly if you have a contact name or number.
Don't worry about ethics where recruitment agencies are involved.
