You will have to read your employment contract again (& carefully). Usually there is a clause that states the notice required for tender of resignation. It can be as quick as 24 hours or it can be a week or 2. It is seldom for a month.

in your case, because you have another contract with the agency, you will have to fulfill that 2 months or you face a penalty. After the initial 2 months, you will then be subject to the notice clause as stipulated by company x.
