are you sure in the contract there isn't a provision for you being paid when the job is paid if it is marketing for outside companies which trumps the 3-6 week provision?

If not, you will have to go through fair employment - I realize it is a pain, but the reason for it is due to a lot of disgruntled employees that try to make claims that aren't true - the lengthy process weeds them out.
