Though your degree is one of the things they are looking in your resume, but what they value more is your working experience.
One more thing, our qualifications is not recognised in Singapore. This is what I learnt when i arrived here.
They will really look more into your working experience and is it related to the job you are looking for.
Also, there are other applicants that they are looking at and if they have working experience overseas, the more chances they will get in.

But dont lose hope and you said you just sent out your resume last week. Normally, it takes about a month for them to sort out thousands of applications and narrow them into the candidates they find best. And just in case, you havent receive their call in a long time. Its best that you try to get more work experience to capture the interest of your prospect employer.

I guess your best bet might be to hunt for Singapore companies online. Yellowpages is a Singaporean directory of all companies. You can look up the industrial listings and check out the companies especially if they have websites.
