I'm South African and personally feels that a guy like this is a total disgrace. Not only is he causing problems for you guys but he is dragging the image of our country through the mud. For all those employers maybe looking at this post, not all of us are like this.... I would also want to work abroad sometime in my life and don't want people looking strange at me because of some other guying giving us a bad image...Fire him please and let him come back to SA... Maybe he should stay with his own kind again just to realize what he had abroad.

It makes me sad to say this about people of my own country.

they were horrible to you for no reason. You were not rude but simply placed in a new situation where you were trying to learn and people were being really awful for you. Glad its over for you now.

Number 3. Jim crow was in the south post civil war, no prefferential treatment was given to blacks till after the civil rights movement in the 60's, and there was legal segregation in government agencies including the military at the time.
