They are a legitimate Staffing Agency. Been around for over 36 years and focus in the Engineering/IT space. I am a former employee and would not have worked for them if they were not reputable. We never had any issues with paying our contractors and tried to resolve any issues that came up quickly and fairly.

What sort of technical education do you have? In what area? And besides the school work, do you have any self generated experience in that technical field?

Because tech people who only do the school work and who do not do work on their own, for the sheer joy of working on that stuff are going to end up selling to tech people like me who actually went out and gave ourselves experience while at school.

About all you can do, is put your resume out there - dice, monster, careerbuilder. If employers are looking for IT workers, they will call you. That's what happened to me (mainframe consultant), and I worked pretty steadily. But in the severe downturn we are in right now, NO ONE IS HIRING anyone, let alone IT workers.

Most companies get workers thru staffing firms now-a-days. That way, they can test drive them for 6 month or a year. If they like you, you get hired. If they don't, your contract expires & you move on. That's just the way it is.

No offense, but there are thousands of very-qualified workers out there. It's easy to be picky, when there are 10 applicants for 1 job.
