You have not clarified if either business has a federal trademark registration. If that is the case, tm rights only cover specific classes/product categories; they are not monopolies on words.
If there are no federal registrations rights only extend to the states where substantial business is done.
In either case, unless there is evidence of confusion in the market, there does not seem to be much of a case at all.

Look at your city hall's website. Civil Service jobs are great. The only catch is that you have to take a test. Look for entry level tests...such a clerk 1
The only requirement is a high school diploma.
Plus they have the best benefits and 401k
Thats what i did...right out of high school and ive been at my job now for 3 years and my hourly rate is 22.75 an hour.

If you love her and know that she truly has changed, then yes, I would marry her. At 25 you should be able to support yourself. It will suck to not make so much money, but will you be ok knowing you lost someone you love because you let your parents run your life?

I don't like that your parents are using money as a way to try to control you, but does your family think she is after your/their money? For them to pay you a six figure salary they must have a very successful business and the thought did cross my mind. But I don't know any of you, so I could be way off. Also, I don't believe in the 'love is all you need' thing. You need food and shelter and a plan on how to get through this financially without your parents help.

Ok, now to contradict myself a bit. I would still try to keep communication with your family. It would be a shame to never speak to them again. Maybe in time they will come around.
