Can I sue my college for disability discrimination? We Answered:
Was your school even aware that you had a disability at the time? Certainly if you only told them about it now, they didn't discriminate against you in any way, and you can't sue them. If, at the time you were taking those classes, you had documentation of your disability and requested help from the school and they refused to help you, that would have been a different matter, as it would have violated the Americans with Disabilities Act. However, if you didn't ask for accommodations then, you can't go back three years later and say that they discriminated against you.Let me point something else out, though. English 101 is a required class at just about every school. I don't know about the other two, but my guess is that most nurses would need some sort of psychology class, and maybe something about computer technology. If you were to be withdrawn from those classes, you would probably not be eligible to get into a nursing program unless you were to retake those classes. You can do that anyway, and the grades you would get now would invalidate your earlier grades. Yes, they would still see the transcript, but you have a good explanation for why it happened, and it would fix the problem with your GPA.
Basically, the dean doesn't have to withdraw you from your classes, although she may choose to do so. She is less likely to do so, though, if you threaten her with lawsuits, which will just make her angry. If she does so, it will look a little nicer on your transcripts, but either way, what you really need to do is to retake those three classes.

Are there many adults who are still home due to disabilities? We Answered:
UPDATED: FEB 10thLook for the Dept of Rehabilitative Services (DRS).
I was classified as having a speech disability so bad, that back in the days when you talked to a phone operator - they could not understand me. I could not order food in a restaurant.
I went o normal school. Then tried the local community college. A teacher there referred me to DRServices. DRServices got a speech therapist and within 2 years - I could be understood.
You might ask your father, in a nice way: What will happen to me, when you cannot take care of me?
Good luck - just keep trying. You can get help.
UPDATE OF FEB 10th
A friend of mine (Jo) and her husband (Carl) took custody of his brother when the parents ided. The brother, who had disabilities, had been living at home and the parents would not allow him to go "out" cause they did not think he could handle things. Jo & Carl worked with him to teach him things. And he did learn and could do things. Eventually he got a job (they drove him to & from work) as a busboy at a restaurant. In time, they found a government agency that helped him move into a group home with several other people with disabilities (I prefer "extra challenges"). He had been there for about 6 years now, and by everything I have heard - doing just fine. If you can find the right agency, and they have people working in your area, you may be able to change your lifestyle.

Obama has 142 days in the senate, Received more contributions from the Fannies May/Mac than everyone on his committee except for Senator Chris Dodd.Obama has more vote declared Present ( which means he was there but didn't vote either way. He didn't make a stand for fear of being held accountable )
Obama has the most Liberal voting record of every Senator. Can you sight just one time he voted for a Republican bill? McCain has voted several times with the Democrats on Dem sponsored bills McCain / Feingold to name one. ( This is why McCain is so unpopular with his base he votes to often for the sake of compromise)
The item you have written down sound like conservative values... Are you spoofing me? You got me.

confused about career choices??!! help!?We Answered:
Follow your passion. It's what you love, and because your passion is one that is always at risk of losing funding, you can choose later to work for political action committees in your chosen field. Whichever way you decide, you're still going to make a difference.
