Floyd Said:

am i too labelled , too old & stigmatized, & disadvantaged by my past?

We Answered:

Yeah? ...snap out of it! You are a man like any other man that God created in his image. Stop telling yourself that you are worthless, because you are not. Do you hear me? The devil is a liar and an accuser.

If no one else loves you, Jesus does, turn to him and call out to him. Tell him how you feel. He will not reject you but will lift you up before the eyes of your enemies.

And just who do you think you are, Rambo?! Behave yourself and no more nonsense of carrying knives and kicking people...do you understand?

Don't panic about life, remember you have Jesus as your best friend to talk to and he will help you. Jesus is alive.

First concentrate on getting well from that injured foot.

Then get yourself enrolled in a college and learn a trade. Then apply for jobs every day until someone calls you.

Save up your money until you have enough to move away from that apartment into something better, or relocating to another country.

You CAN do it

In Jesus own loving words to you:

Matthew 11
28"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

29Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

30For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."

Brandon Said:

am i finished ? can i '' never '' reach my goals?

We Answered:

You are still breathing, so you can still move forward with your life. Sounds as if you have more than most in way of obstacles. Don't let that stop you.

Educate yourself on every topic related to self care and personal improvement. First area of focus should be diet. Your body and your brain have very specific nutritional needs. If your diet fails to meet those needs, your body and your brain suffer.

As for PTSD...I likewise suffer from that (as well as anxiety, depression and panic attacks). I was the product of an unwanted pregnancy to a mother with severe bipolar disorder with psychotic features. She had a proclivity of attracting abusive men into her life, which meant they were in my life. My father spent most of his adult life in jail, and was killed in a cop chase my senior year of high school. We were dirt poor. Life was hard.

But I always knew life had more to offer. My adult life has been an unending learning process. I am very accomplished, in spite of an early rough road. My mental ills are kept at bay, mostly because I have learned how to feed my body what it needs to be healthy, and my brain benefits from that healthy diet.

Focusing on all the negative events in your life will keep you locked in a negative spiral. The only way to recover from a difficult past is to start creating a future that gives you better memories to build on. You are the only one who can steer yourself out of the hell you describe. There are no magic pills or potions. There's only taking the best care of yourself so that you can create health (that involves research and study), and making the most of every day you get to live.

You have to survive first, before you can thrive. But thrive, you can.

Willie Said:

I really want to go to Coastal Carolina University but they don't have the degree I want available...?

We Answered:

You have to be careful with switching schools because sometimes the university you are transferring to will not accept credits for certain classes, so it would be almost a waste of time towards getting your degree.

Sometimes when a school doesn't have the degree available, you can petition the university to offer that certain degree. I've see it done before. Good luck

Lee Said:

can i ever get out of this situation?

We Answered:

You have to be your own best friend. Quit waiting for the government to solve your problems, they can only help so much. Everybody has feelings of worthlessness no matter how successful they may be. You can't blame others for your problems, even if it was someone else's fault, you have to move past it and make your own life. You sound intelligent enough to step up and be what you need to be for yourself. You can do it. I would also suggest trusting God and asking him to give you wisdom and strength to start each new day for the better.
