i think the same thing.
Many student is highschool bio and chem classes want to be doctors and lawyers because the have seen cool shows like house and greys anatomy.
they see they make money and people look up to them and things like that.
but in reality they are going to go to school for biology chem or premed and then apply for medical school because they think it is cool
then they get in.
When the first two years go by fine and dandy so they have spend 6 years in school no prblem
were everyone drops out is in the 3 and 4 year of med school were you only get 2 hrs of sleep a day for 2 years because u are following around real doctors and taking care of real sick people who are holding on to death and u see things u have only seen in books and horror movies. were ur emotions are tested to the max and ur physical wellness is stressed and ready to break down.

THose people in thos classes may become doctors.
but i doubt it. Some of them may but they deserve it after going through hell.

It is the hardest thing you will ever do but the pay chek is nice and knowing that you will help someone is even better =)

so the answer to ur statement is that some of them will try and only a few will make it.
medical schhool is there to weed out the people that just want the money from the people that want to help.

It depends on what you consider a "good living". Teachers are in great demand especially special needs. Hours can be long you don't get to leave when the kids do during the day, but true about summers off. Also anymore their are safety issues and raises come more slowly. Private schools can sometimes pay more and have less students per class. They are sometimes harder to get. I'm not sure if you can finish your degree to become a teacher online. I know you can start and get your associates, but unsure about the rest. You would have to look into it.

Now as far as health and wellness you would need to be more specific. Medical assistants as an an example do not make that much and have very long hours. One thought is if you like this area of work and children look into being a physical therapist speciallizing in children's injuries and rehab. Physical Therapists are in great demand and pays well.
