Lab tech is the same as a medical technologist--the MT was the old term (unless they are using it in a new way). The lab is a pretty interesting place and there are quite a few places you can work. What would you like to do> you have to be analytical, manually dexterous, exact with numbers etc. There are lists & lists of medical careers posted on YA so I will not waste time re-typing--do some searching & googling; but without knowing your interests it is hard to just blindly suggest something.
