i just graduated in 2008. i really miss high school a lot. you should really enjoy it..but to prepare for it..do well ALL the way through..you could very well..get scholarships for that..full rides with room and everything. join sports..join clubs..i never did that..and i LOVE sports..i regret it =/. In your junior or senior year ..if you can..do internship and look for internship in politics or journalism to see if you really like it..or if you can during the summer..of freshmen year. find an internship in journalism..then the next summer..try politics then during the school year do medicine..and choose what you like. Prepare for your sats (i didn't lol i did...average..but that's not good enough!) try and prepare asap..and take it maybe junior year..or senior year and see how you score. senior year..prepare for what schools you want to go to and look at deadlines and everything. High school..is a once in a lifetime thing..i didn't enjoy it as much as i hoped..now. i am only at a community college now..so it's not very fun..but i'm doing better and looking to get a full scholarship for my 4 year school. Good Luck i hope you really enjoy it..nothing will be like high school.

Hope this helps--I'm not sure what the Health Academy is, so I'm limited here.

Start by explaining who you are and why you want to become a physician's assistant. Tell them, in general, what you've already done to learn about health issues and any classes you've already taken. Include your need to help others and if there is a specific person you want to help or admire, mention them. Stress that you want to give back to the community.

Then explain how vital the Health Academy is in helping you reach this goal--you will learn more about health issues and add to the knowledge you already have, you will get hands on experience working with patients, etc. Stress how important it is to you to pursue this field and how you will use the experience to better yourself and your world.
