if there's any hospital's around go in and ask if they need voluntary worker's and how you go about it i work in a hospital and our voluntary worker comes in every wedensday and friday for 2 to 3 hrs she spends lots of time with the patient's it lovely.

thing's she dose: cards, doing there nails, hair,talking to them,taking them a walk around the building or down to the hospital shop . good luck hope this is helpful to you

if you do get sent to the middle east, its not as bad as it used to be.. iraq is opretty much dead now. (not dead but the hostile levels are really low) and afghanistan is getting alittle more dangerous but not that bad. you do relize that just because you choose a non-combat MOS, you can still be sent to battle, you are a soldier first and then you do your job! FYI
