You can be a phlebotomist in about 6-8 weeks.
Medical assistants, X-Ray Tech, Lab Tech, they all take about 2 years. There is a ton of careers that only take 2 years. Less if you go straight through summer. But phlebotomy is about the shortest I've seen.

My daughter had to do a simular project fo history in 6th grade. that is how we did it. Yes, I helped. but only with the design, etc.

You could work in a university health office, for a state or city health dept, or for a corporate wellness program.

For some jobs, you'd need a Master's in Public Health, so you may want to think about getting that at some point.
