If you are doing an MSW now you might seriously consider a joint MSW/JD degree. As I'm sure you have learned social work is much more than mental health. The joint MSW/JD is a very powerful combination in doing policy advocacy work, child welfare work, adoptions, even in the mental health area.

Health/ medicine is a good career to get into and its not as complicated as law as you have to learn alot to work in law. I personally would prefer law but i just don't like the thought of working in medicine/ health care.

Breaking into the highly lucrative area of health care law would be difficult - although your language skills are a great enhancement. You definitely would have to find employment with one of the entrenched firms in a lowly position.
