Health Management Careers

Brett Said:

health care management careers?

We Answered:

It depends on what type of Health Care Management you want to go into. That's a pretty broad career.
For example: If you want to be a case manager, director of nursing in the health care industry, yes you probably will need your RN.

If you want to be an Administrator, CEO, President ( health company, Nursing facility ) Or open up your own establishment then having your B.B.A is a must.

I would google Health care management careers and see what you come up with. I would also look at your local community college and see what degree plans they have and what University you would be able to transfer to. What's great about a community college is that they have very flexible schedules and offer online classes. Be prepared though. Online class is a LOT of work.

Again first step. See what types of jobs are being posted in your area. If you want call them and ask them what the requirements are. You could always browse through craigslist.org. Sometimes they post the requirements and pay on there ad.

Second. Look at a community college and see what type of programs they offer. You can always talk with a guidance counsler, free.

Third. Compare all your info and then decide.

If you go for your BBA you can apply it to a lot of different fields besides health if you changed your mind in your career for the future. RN you are stuck in the healthcare field.
