Corey Said:
What types of careers are available with a MSc Health Sciences? We Answered:
This course is ideal for any health professional wanting to develop their career. It is also suitable for new graduates who are interested in pursuing a professional career in this field.Health Studies: This is the most flexible route. Students working towards the award of MSc must complete the Research Methods module prior to beginning their dissertation. All other modules are selected according to personal interest.
Health Management: This is a specialized route in which there are three compulsory modules: Research Methods, Management and Leadership and Policy and Politics of Health. In addition, the focus of the dissertation will concern management issues. The work-based module offers a further opportunity for independent study linked to workplace issues.

health sciences as a major and nursing? preferably ithaca college students but others welcome? We Answered:
You need to apply to a school of nursing (it may be under the general heading of health sciences--but it is the school of nursing), and the degree is a bachelors of science in nursing (BSRN). (not a health science BS). Look at the Ithaca web site to see what they offer. If they do not have a school of nursing, you can not get a BSRN and cannot be a RN.Mitchell Said:
I am going into Allied Health Sciences at college what kind of careers can you do with this?We Answered:
It depends on your program I guess. From the title its difficult to tell if your program is more social science or hard science oriented. You may want to be more specific about this first. Hard science folks have a better time of job dollars at the bachelor's level where social science folks really need graduate degrees to begin pulling money in at the professional level. Ask your career counselor at school to point you in a direction. Most library reference rooms have industry description and salary range guidelines.
