Joy Said:

what careers can I get with a BA in health and human services?

We Answered:

Probably an entry level job in a non-profit or possibly a government position. Take statistics as that will really help you down the line (PS it's not really math). You should also try to get internships or work for credits so you are more competitive when you graduate. I would also try to see alumni in various field to ask for advice.

medical terminology and lots of it!

Know insurance codes...transcription.

If you are in school, you can get a job at the local hospital as a health unit coordinator...this will get your foot in the door, and you only need a high school diploma and HUC certificate (about 1-2 semester(s)of classes) to get that job.

Which one is better: Bachelor in Public Health or Health Service Administration? What are some of the career o

We Answered:

i think it is a matter of what comes first.
the bachelor of public health would be the first accomplishment. once you have spent time experiencing the nature of the craft and all of its variables, (maybe you'd consider a masters degree as well) then one would choose to be an administrator.
