Ella Said:

Michigan nurses: What training program is required to become a CENA (home health aide)?

We Answered:

O.K. looks like no one from Michigan is going to answer you. I am from Washington. I know here that once your a nurse all that is required is an informal training class by the company that is hiring you to certify that you know how to deal with home care situations.
Check with your local companies they will love to help you and possibly offer you a job!

sorry I don't know any of that, but thanks for 2 points.

Brett Said:

what will you realy do in nvq training in health and social care? where will you work and what are your jobs?

We Answered:

The scheme is a very good way of actually gaining entry in to the United Kingdom, learning and also getting the chance to stay in the united Kingdom.

I am the managing director of a college in the united Kingdom who bring people such as yourself to come and live in the united Kingdom. You gain a qualification called an NVQ, something that is widely recognised in the EU. you do not have to study in the classroom but instead you learn whilst working. dedicated staff asses you and help you every step of the way from on the job teaching to finding a home for you once here. you attend an orientation course for one week then we help you settle in to your new exciting life ! Of course you have to pay tuition fee but the great thing about our college is that we make life easy by letting you pay in easy installments ! get in contct for more information at d.hatfield123@yahoo.co.uk

Art & Science of Health Promotion Conference
Core Conference March 28-31, 2007
Intensive Training Seminars March 26-27,and March 31 - April 1, 2007
Moscone Center| San Francisco, CA

Theconference theme is “Integrating Health Promotion into All Sectors of Society.” Read more about the theme below.

"Integrating Health Promotion into all Sectors of Society"

Workplace health promotion programs have established a decades-long track record of improving health, moderating medical care cost increases, reducing absenteeism and enhancing morale. Continually rising medical costs and increasingly effective programming have stimulated historic growth in workplace based health promotion. This growth is likely to continue at least through the end of the decade, but the greatest growth opportunities for health promotion are probably outside the workplace and will be found in schools, clinics, hospitals, families, health clubs and other parts of the community. These sectors represent excellent growth opportunities from a business perspective, but the public health perspective is even more exciting. If we can integrate health promotion concepts into each of these sectors, we will come close to creating a living environment that envelops people in health promotion messages and helps each of us maintain long-term healthy lifestyles. Our 2007 conference will explore how to best reach each of these sectors. Sessions will focus on financial analysis, integrating health promotion into society, advocacy and practice skills
