Hi, as a teacher myself, I can tell you that there are plenty of jobs available. However, this year in my school we had lots of overseas teachers, many of which were excellent and well qualified - the problem is that they get paid unqualified rates until they gain their Q.T.S (qualified teacher status) so it might be worth looking into that before taking a job, or soon after you get one.

EDIT: Lots of overseas teachers opt to do supply teaching - there is usually plenty of work for the good quality ones. (We regularly 'black-list' the ones that are very poor quality however). I can't help you much with choosing a location, as I am a Londoner myself, so that's really the area I know about.
