I have a question about job abandoment? We Answered:
RISK V. BENEFIT TESTYou will not get the job v. the omission, you might get fired.
Leave it out of you job application. Say, you were in school at the time. They will never find out,and so what if they do, what are the chances they will?
I am in a job location place, and everyone says to leave it out, unless they are going to use spy factor. Like a government job.
Call your local unemployment office, and ask to speak to their job developer, or someone in a similar capacity, they will tell you when to and when not to.
I leave that kinda stiff out all of the time, I'm okay.
Call the license place, and ask them about it, you did not get any notice in the mail?
Background checks mostly look for criminal acts. It would be very expensive to go into much details, like asking employers things, becuase the employer risks that you will sue for false light, etc.

I need mental healthcare but can't afford it. What are my options? We Answered:
Contact the link below. NAMI is the National Alliance for Mental Illness. They have local offices that can point you in the direction of free or inexpensive help.Mildred Said:
Whats a good objective for a resume? ?We Answered:
You should actually target a resume to the job you're looking for. Save one with animal experience and an animal objective, and another one for healthcare. If you make it look too broad and unfocused, they're likely to trash it.OBJECTIVE: To secure a position in a veterinary or pet day care facility to assist with animal care. I am seeking to increase my experience in this setting and expand my knowledge toward a future career in veterinary medicine.
Then just switch it around for healthcare.

Where can one get decent individual healthcare? We Answered:
Please write more info like what state you are in. Check your state's website. Most states now have either cheap or free healthcare for those of us with jobs and no healthcare coverage. Sometimes your local social services office is a good start. They can sometimes at least direct you to the right place. Many prescriptions are free or low-cost through the pharmaceutical company as well. I agree with you that having a child before you have good healthcare is a bad idea.Ramona Said:
Question about job abandonment......?We Answered:
Unless you tell someone you worked fro them this is not part of any public record system. You can also be forthright and tell anyone you interview with your situation and that you said you were putting in notice and they didn't accept it and was let go on the spot but this is how they stated it in your paperwork.good luck but I would not sweat it.

I have a question about job abandonment? We Answered:
It was a poor decision as you walked off the job potentially putting patients at risk. You are right in saying healthcare is the wrong industry for you.Having said that, there is no national database for reference checking and job performance. If you file for unemployment you will likely be turned down as the employer will report it as job abandonment. In a reference check they would not likely go to that level of detail. They would likely only confirm your dates of employment and that you voluntarily resigned. As you fill out applications and have interviews, if it comes up simply be honest and say you quit because you learned very quickly that healthcare was not where you belonged. You can spin it to a positive by saying you take your career seriously. When you realized it was a poor fit, you took a positive step forward, made a decision and you moved on focusing on .... (fill in the blank) Instead of saying you are a flake it says you are serious, committed and thoughtful.
