Do you think I can make it into the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UICU)?We Answered:
if you want ranges for sat and act scores i would suggest collegedata.com, collegeboard.com or cappex.com. UIUC is pretty selective (one of my best friends is applying there) so make sure you take AP classes, at least four in your high school career, i took 7 and my friend that's applying there took 8 and got an SAT score of 1860 and he will most likely get in. Also, maintain your involvement in extra curriculars, they don't matter as much for big schools as liberal arts schools but they do helpConstance Said:

im considering criminal justice as my new career,im in illinois? We Answered:
Each department or agency and state has it's own guidelines in reference to age, health and education. Customs and airport security are all part of the federal government now, it's the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and the Transportaion and Security Administration (TSA), they are two of several federal agencies or departments which are under the direction the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) since changes were made after 9/11. Look at their Website www.dhs.gov and click on the "jobs" or "careers" link for more information. Also, usually, you have to agree to be stationed anywhere in the us. You will most likely be trained at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Virginia and when done with training, you will be sent where they need you, not where you want to work.Charles Said:
Can a convicted felon become a medical doctor, nurse or dentist in Illinois...Non violent offense? We Answered:
I just recently applied to get into the dental hygiene program in my local area. Right on the web site and in all of the paperwork that they have sent me states that if I have a criminal background that I would need to obtain legal guidance to see if I could continue onward.Since each state is different, my suggestion to you is to check out the states licensing board and see if they can provide you a legal resource if you do not have one.

I was wondering if having a traffic felony would prevent me from having any type of job in the health field? We Answered:
If you have DUI's shsouldn't get a job in health field whether it is felony or not. Felony is felony. If you cannot be a felon, then doesn't matter what it is.
