Where can I find information about careers?

Even though the website oedb.org targets those who are interested in pursuing their degree online, it's the perfect place to get you started in terms of providing you with a tidbit of almost every career choice imaginable and explaining what degree you must earn to obtain it. To see a full list of marketable programs and career choices click here: http://oedb.org/online-programs

What makes this website even more special is that on the bottom left-hand corner there is a section called "Fast-Track Careers." Here, the site provides a detailed description of the in-demand jobs (in a variety of different industries) that are expected to grow within the next decade. They are categorized by subject to make students' searches a lot easier. Included is a description of what the career entails, what degree you have to earn to get that position and information about salary.

Another great website that will give you information about careers is the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statics. All you have to do is simply type in your career choice into the search box and an abundant of useful information should appear.
