Ramon Said:

Which one should i choose Clinical Medical Assisting or Practical Nursing??

We Answered:

Definitely clinical
Really limited as LPN

Willie Said:

Medical Assistant training?

We Answered:

No I don't believe so. I think you have to take the specific classes and get specifically certified but I'm not certain. My roommate is in Nursing School and she just finished taking CNA classes so I would assume, no.

Jimmy Said:

medical assistant training from community adult schools?

We Answered:

I don't know of any difference in pay. The Adult school will usually be just as good. The private schools claim they do better at placing you at a job, but I am rather suspect of their claims.

Erika Said:

Medical Assisting job -{ certified }?

We Answered:

I do not live in that area, but the lvn (we call it that here in tx) will be a better choice. You will make more money and pretty much get hired anywhere.

Johnny Said:

Where can my girlfriend get a job as a Medical Assistant in or near West Covina, Ca?

We Answered:

Actually, North-West College DOES offer job placement after graduation! You should definitely give the school a call and ask to schedule and appointment with the Placement Coordinator.

I work at North-West and I know for a fact that they do offer Placement Assistance. :)

Rachel Said:

Are there any medical/assisted living facilities that have on-the-job training for CNA?

We Answered:

I got my certificate that way (albeit in a different state). Your best bet is to call around and see if anyone offers paid training. They'll make you sign a contract saying you'll work for them (for a time) to offset their time and energy in training you.
