Call local hospitals and other local medical employers and find out what criteria they look for when hiring a Medical Transcriptionist. Tell them you are looking for training in the field and want to know the best place to learn. I was once offered free Medical Transcriptionist training from the local hospital in a rural area just because I already had Medical Terminology and Computer skills. Good Luck! : )
